Kate - Team Player

I've been working as a full-time Team Player for around eight months now. My job is to seat people, take orders and serve food and drinks. I really enjoy the guest interaction. Sometimes things can get a little stressful, especially in the kitchen. But it's worth it!

I found the training really useful and I've even been able to use some of it outside of work. My Dad has started up his own café business, so I've been giving him a few tips on customer service!

In the next few years, I hope to progress to Team Leader and then Deputy General Manager. Eventually, I want a career in pub management and I know I'll be given plenty of opportunities to develop one here.
